Pembroke Pines, Fla. 2024 – Aker Technology, a global manufacturer of innovative, competitively priced frequency control products, now offers an ultra-small quartz crystal that is ideal for space-constrained applications. The C12 Series can be used in portable medical devices, smart wearables, sensor networks, IoT devices, cameras and wireless communications modules.

This extremely small SMD crystal has a package size of only 1.2 mm x 1.0 mm helping to reduce overall footprint. The C12 Series features a frequency range from 32 to 80 MHz and a frequency stability as tight as ±15 ppm. It has a maximum crystal aging rate of only ±3ppm/year, ensuring long-term stability.

The C12 Series has excellent temperature adaptability with a standard operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C, making it suitable for harsh environments.
