November 2022 – Aker Technology USA, a global manufacturer of innovative, competitively priced frequency control products, has expanded its line of automotive grade frequency control products with the TX32A, a temperature compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO) that meets AECQ-200 qualification.

The new TX32A is a surface mount device (SMD) in a seam-sealed ceramic-metal package to reduce electro-magnetic interference (EMI) effects between the package and the lid. The new TCXO measures only 3.2 mm x 2.5 mm x 1.2 mm, offers a frequency range of 10 to 52 MHz and is available with temperature stability of +/-0.5 ppm, +/- 1.0 ppm and +/-2.0 ppm.
Standard operating temperature ranges is -20℃ to +70℃ with -40℃ to +85℃ available for extended operation and a storage range of -55℃ to +125℃. Voltage options include 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V.
Used in a range of in-vehicle and industrial connectivity applications, the new TCXO is also ideal applications involving 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GLONASS and GPS as well as IoT, radio, RFID and tracking.
Available in 1,000- or 3,000-piece tape and reel, the TX32A can also be shipped bulk in ESD pouches for quantities less than 1,000. Thanks to Aker USA’s flexible manufacturing process, delivery of volume orders is 7-8 weeks, with samples available faster, depending on needed frequency.
