Pembroke Pines, Fla. April 2024 – Aker Technology USA, a global manufacturer of innovative, competitively priced frequency control products, has announced that its entire line of differential oscillators is now AEC-Q200 qualified and approved for automotive applications. Available with LVPECL, LVDS and HCSL outputs, SA oscillators are designed specifically for use in automotive electronics systems.

Designed based on automotive specifications to ensure products meet the strict standards and requirements of the automotive industry, these oscillators are offered in four different package sizes, ranging from 2.5 x 2.0 mm, 3.2 x 2.5 mm, 5.0 to 3.2mm to 7.0 to 5.0mm. They feature low jitter and low interference and offer fast transmission speeds. With a frequency range of 13.5 to 200 MHz these differential oscillators have a frequency stability up to ±100ppm.

Because these differential oscillators offer design flexibility, they can be used in a variety of different applications. They offer multiple voltage options to choose from, including 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V and 2.375~3.63V and have a working temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. These differential oscillators are suitable for use in harsh environments.

“Used in in-vehicle entertainment systems, in-vehicle communication systems as well as in-vehicle navigation systems, our differential oscillators offer high reliability and long-term stability, meeting the stringent requirements of the automotive industry.” said Eric Greenberg, Director of North American Sales, Aker Technology. Aker also offers differential oscillators in the same footprint designed for a variety of non-automotive applications, including microprocessor-based applications, telecommunications, data storage and delivery, computer products, instrumentation and security systems.

As with all Aker products, “we provide a quick response to our customers’ needs and provide customized solutions and technical support whenever needed,” said Greenberg.

SA differential oscillators can cost-effectively be delivered in small quantities with short turnaround and lead times.
